A new record is set--Room Reservations top 238

Pushers unite.

To honor Erika's commitment of one push-up for every reservation over 100, Push Over recruits a few new Pushers from our home office--including Greg Champion, Chief Operating Officer; Greg Parsons, VP of Operations, Eric Terry, VP of Sales and Marketing, Hal Powell, VP of Sales, and Kim Nugent, Director of Revenue. Several hardcore regulars show them the ropes. As of 2pm MT, Pecs, Tights, and Iron Maiden (in skirt and heels!) have passed the 100 mark with another 138 on the deck by cocktail time. It should be duly noted that our new COO cranked out the entire 57 in one clip yesterday at altitude. Glad to have a new Pusher amongst us. CONGRATULATIONS RES TEAM!

Take a Hike-Up the Peak!

That’s right ladies and gentlemen, it’s time to start thinking about our annual hike up Pikes Peak! We’ve had a blast the last two years and would love for you to join us for a 3rd year in a row! In case you need some inspiration from your GM, Laura says, “the challenge is significant but not insurmountable…and the personal thrill is priceless.” And for those who are a part of the Lighten Up Colorado contest, this will score your team some MAJOR points!

Here’s what I need… Below are some dates that are being considered. If you can make it, please respond to me and let me know which dates you CAN make it. Once we receive a certain number of responses, we’ll set it up and have it listed in our CMR blog. (Start and end time is still TBD but this can take a full day for most, so plan accordingly within your department.)

· Friday, 7/10
· Saturday, 7/11
· Wednesday, 7/15
· Friday, 7/17
· Sunday, 7/19
· Friday, 7/24 (Laura’s B-Day!)
· Saturday, 7/25 (will not count towards Lighten UP)
· Sunday, 7/26 (will not count towards Lighten UP)

I look forward to hearing from you all and please pass this on to your employees who do not have email access.

Thanks,
~Lee

Five pushers with something to prove

We said we would do one push up for every reservation made over 100, and we delivered! Laura, Scott, Erika, Sarah, and Lisa did 29 push ups as the CMR reservations team was on the phone taking more reservations!

CMR Revenue Manager celebrates with an extra 26!

Ok, I said it in a public forum, which was my first mistake! I said in the Sales Meeting yesterday that I would do one push up for every room night booked over 100. Yesterday, our reservations team booked 126 room nights! So, I will follow through on my commitment and do 26 extra push ups today, on top of the 100 I already do. However, they will probably not be all at the same time, and they will be “girl” pushups! Yes Tim Lane, girl pushups.

Congratulations team, let’s make it another 800+ booking week!!
